Guten Tag!
Alle Drei mögen die eher kleinen Gruppen der frühen Jazzjahre, Spirits Of Rhythm, Cats And The Fiddle, Slim & Slam.

Being swingdancers themselves, Carsten Trill and Ole Greifsmühlen noticed a lack of live bands in Hamburg who played the songs they wanted to dance to. They got together in Trill’s living room and did just that: looking for songs they liked to dance to.
They got lucky finding Friedrich Paravicini at their very first gig. The first ever jazz-cello player was just standing in the audience and said he wanted to join them. He did. Now he is curiously combining the imitation of upright bass and bowing melodies. Already head high in his shellack records DJaying business, Paravicini contributed to the now „Trio“ his jazz knowledge, both historically and musically. Instantly they figured that they share the same interests in early 30’s small band swing and vocal groups and found the groove, developing a unique sound of their piano, cello, rhythmic guitar, ukulele and three voices.
Coming from various musical backgrounds the Killin’ Trills joined their passion for 20’s to 40’s Jazz in 2009. Now, after years of dancing, DJaying and playing, they come together to do just that: play the songs you have to dance to!
